This Refund and Return Policy explains how cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refunds work for products purchased from Indo Soul Harmony via https://indosoulharmony.com (India and international orders). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
1. Our commitment
We want you to love what you receive. Because many items are handmade or uniquely finished, please review product details carefully before ordering. If something is wrong with your order, contact us quickly so we can help.
2. Delivery timelines (estimates)
- India: usually up to 5 days after dispatch
- International: usually up to 18 days after dispatch (customs may add time)
These are estimates, not guarantees.
3. Order cancellation (before dispatch)
- You may request cancellation by emailing [email protected] with your order number.
- If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will generally cancel and refund you.
- If the order has already been packed/handed to the courier, cancellation may no longer be possible; you may use the return process below where eligible.
4. Return window
Unless a product listing states otherwise, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery if:
- the item is unused, unworn, and in its original condition and packaging (where applicable); and
- you include proof of purchase / order number; and
- the item is not in a non-returnable category listed below.
Please email us within this window. Approval of a return request is required before you ship an item back.
5. Eligible reasons for return / replacement
- Received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item
- Item materially differs from the description in a way not explained as natural handmade variation
- Eligible change-of-mind return within the 7-day window (subject to sections 6 and 8)
6. Non-returnable items
Unless required otherwise by law, the following are generally non-returnable once delivered (except if damaged/defective/incorrect on arrival):
- Personalised, customised, or made-to-order items
- Intimate/personal care items, opened hygiene-sensitive products
- Sale / clearance items marked as final sale
- Digital goods, gift cards, or downloadable content (if offered)
- Items returned without original packaging/tags (where tags were supplied) or showing signs of use, wear, alteration, or damage caused after delivery
7. Handmade & natural variation
Minor differences in colour, grain, weave, carving, finish, scent, or dimensions of artisan/handmade/natural products are normal and not considered defects.
8. How to start a return
- Email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery with: order number, product name, reason, and clear photos (required for damage/defect claims).
- Wait for our written approval and return instructions.
- Ship the item back to the address we provide, securely packed.
Returns sent without prior approval may be refused.
9. Return shipping costs
- Our error / damaged / defective / incorrect item: we will cover reasonable return shipping or arrange pickup where available.
- Change-of-mind or other customer-initiated eligible returns: return shipping is paid by the customer (including for international returns), unless we agree otherwise in writing.
10. Inspection and refund timeline
- After we receive the returned item, we inspect it (typically within 3–7 business days).
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Bank/card providers may take additional time to reflect the credit after we initiate the refund.
- Shipping fees are refundable only when the return is due to our error or a defective/incorrect product, unless required by law.
11. Exchanges / replacements
Where stock allows, we may offer a replacement for damaged, defective, or incorrect items. If the same item is unavailable, we may offer an alternative of equal value or a refund.
12. Failed delivery / lost in transit
If a shipment is lost in transit after dispatch, contact us with your order number. We will work with the courier to investigate and, where appropriate, reship or refund once loss is confirmed by the carrier.
13. Wrong address / unclaimed parcels
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address supplied by you, refusal, or failure to collect, we may charge re-shipping costs or refund product value minus outbound shipping and any courier return fees.
14. International orders
- We ship internationally. Typical international delivery is usually up to 18 days after dispatch.
- Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees in the destination country. These charges are generally non-refundable once paid to authorities/carriers.
- For international change-of-mind returns, return shipping is paid by the customer.
15. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or other mandatory law. If a product has a manufacturing defect or is not as described, you may be entitled to remedies required by law.
